These paintings mark a new chapter in my practice since relocating to New York. The work has become more architectural, more psychological, and more attuned to the way the city shapes interior life. Each canvas begins as a trace of memory and perception and grows into a figure or atmosphere that feels both present and dissolving. I am interested in how an image forms inside us long before we understand it, and these works explore that space between recognition and abstraction.
